English is a language like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and many more another language. Languages are only the medium to communicate with people and share messages, ideas, and views. English becoming compulsory for getting jobs. If you speak English fluently you are a well-educated person according to our society. If you don't know English, even having good skills and knowledge you are an undereducated person and the chance of getting a job is low according to society.
Some of the people speaking English just to show that they belong from high profile society. In India, people speak English to impress the other. Generally, These trends are going on in from past few decades in India. I am not saying that speaking English is not good or you do not have to speak in English. If you like to speak English lets speaks but not forgot own native/national language.
China, japan likes country prefer their own language rather than the English language. It shows how much they love and respect their language. Even for business purposes, they used their own language. If the international client does not understand their language they provide an interpreter to translate to English. Indian like countries we like to change ourselves for others, we like to compromised for others. We have to learn from Japan and China to respect and love our own language rather than running to speak in English. Even chain and japan speak their own language they are more developed than India. If we speak in our language our reputation will not decrease but our language will be recognized in the world.

The developed country like the British and USA knows the English language. In order to negotiate with them, the people around the world should have to speak in English.
The question comes to mind "why only be should know their language? Why they are not speaking our language? The answers to this question are that Developed and powerful countries always dominate the poor and under developing countries in many ways. Other reasons are that the British ruled all most every country for hundreds of years. English is the native language of the British. They used to speak in English as the official language. They have opened schools and colleges where they used to teach in English for the student of a particular country. After when they ran away and countries like India get independent. The system of administration is the same. Only right is given to the citizen of India by lawmakers. The influence of English speaking came from the British only.
It was observed that those countries that are ruled by the British are more influenced by the English language. The best example is India.
